Resolutions of the FREQUENTIS General Meeting 2024

The dividend for the 2023 financial year was approved by the General Meeting at EUR 0.24 (24 cents) per no-par value share with dividend entitlement, payment will be made as of 14 June 2024.

FREQUENTIS enhances aeronautical information management in New Zealand

  • Airways New Zealand has again selected Frequentis with its aeronautical information management (AIM) solution
  • Project will upgrade Airways New Zealand to the latest Aeronautical Information Exchange Model (AIXM) 5
  • The transition from AIXM 4.5 to AIXM 5.1 enables aviation stakeholders to streamline their operations, improve decision-making, and elevate overall safety and efficiency

Aeronautical Information Exchange Model (AIXM) has long been recognised as the de-facto standard for the exchange and management of aeronautical information, facilitating efficient data integration and interoperability across various aviation systems.

“AIXM 5.1 empowers aviation stakeholders with enriched data precision, streamlined data exchange, and enhanced data integrity, enabling them to make smarter decisions and achieve higher levels of safety and operational efficiency. FREQUENTIS C4i VOICE C2 successfully certified to operate on the US Department of Defense networks

  • Accreditation from the US DoD represents a significant vote of confidence in C4i’s ability to safeguard critical communications for worldwide defence organisations

  • Successful completion of cybersecurity and interoperability testing

The Frequentis C4i VOICE C2 communication system has been approved by Defense Information Security (DISA) for listing on the Department of Defense (DoD) information network (DoDIN) approved products list (APL) following recertification by the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC). The successful completion of cybersecurity and interoperability testing reaffirms C4i's status as an industry leader in defence communications technology.

FREQUENTIS UK appoints new Managing Director

Current UK Managing Director Andy Madge will retire, effective 1 July 2024, handing over responsibility for the UK and Ireland subsidiary to Mike Garrod.

Mike Garrod, with extensive experience in the aerospace and defence sectors, joined Frequentis UK on 13 May to begin a phased handover to close Andy’s seven successful years as Managing Director of the UK and Ireland subsidiary.

Frequentis UK operates across all five Frequentis business segments, including civil and military air traffic control, public transport, public safety, and maritime. Under Andy Madge’s leadership, the company has experienced remarkable market growth, transforming from a small branch into a key contributor to the international success of the Frequentis Group, as well successfully navigating challenging times, including Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic.

FREQUENTIS increases shares in Nemergent Solutions to further advance mission-critical communication technology

  • Frequentis shares in Nemergent Solutions increased from 15% to 25%
  • This increased shareholding reinforces Frequentis’ position in the Mission-Critical Communications (MCX) market

Frequentis acquired a 15 per cent share of Nemergent Solutions in 2020, and it has rapidly emerged as an international expert in MCX technologies. The Spanish company has contributed significantly to projects in public transport and public safety, providing software for application services and mobile terminals for emergency services. This increase in shareholding solidifies Frequentis' commitment to providing innovative MCX solutions including the MissionX solution enabling mission-critical services over next-generation broadband communication networks.
