FREQUENTIS USA NAMED A TOP WORKPLACE

Frequentis is proud to be an attractive, renowned employer, not only at our headquarters in Vienne, but worldwide. A most recent example is Frequentis USA, located in Columbia, MD, and currently employing a workforce of about 100 colleagues. As part of a long-term stock-listed global enterprise with a family culture, the Frequentis team in the US strives to deliver the best results for our customers by designing and delivering solutions based on the broad portfolio of products and solutions of the Frequentis Group and combining them with the industry-leading technologies of long-term partners. The special Frequentis culture can be felt in mutual respect and trust for each other, other cultures, and diversity.

Frequentis USA was now named a Top Workplace in 2024 by the Baltimore Sun Media. This achievement is awarded based on employee feedback. Companies that win the “Top Workplace”  award make employees feel empowered to make decisions and enable employees to have work-life-balance. Frequentis USA rejoices to embody those values and be a top workplace in 2024.

ETHICAL HANDLING OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in safety-critical areas, where human error can have fatal consequences, is becoming increasingly important. In particular, the integration of AI into safety-critical communication systems offers great potential for improved decision-making and efficiency.

To enable Frequentis' development teams to use these new technologies across the Group, a dedicated AI Competence Centre was implemented in 2023. By sharing know-how and expertise across the entire Group, this competence centre harmonises the various AI solutions and thus optimises their functions and performance.

In this context, the responsible use of AI is of particular importance. This has now been set out in the Frequentis Code of Conduct in the form of the statement ‘We maintain a responsible approach to AI’.
