Digital data transformation is at the heart of the new ATM. Digital data and autonomous systems are the future for managing both the traditional aircraft and the new entrants. Frequentis has been supporting the transition from AIS to AIM for decades and has been providing the very first ATM cloud-based data service as part of the European Aeronautical Database for almost 20 years. The digital revolution of ATM has already started. 

Merging and consolidating data from different data sources remains a critical task, as the incoming data is often provided in proprietary data formats. Appropriate tools and procedures are required to guarantee data consistency and quality according to national or international quality standards like the European ADQ regulation. Data Management includes, but is not limited to, ICAO data sets, Aerodrome Mapping (AMDB), terrain and obstacle databases. Data can be consumed and provided in different common data formats such as AIXM 5.1, AIXM 4.5 or ARINC 424.

AIDA-NG

Frequentis is the market leader in the AMHS domain. Designed in close cooperation with leading ANSPs, Frequentis Comsoft’s Aeronautical Integrated Data Exchange Agent – Next Generation (AIDA-NG) is a unified message handling switch for AFTN, Common ICAO Data Interchange Network (CIDIN), and AMHS, based on EATM Communication Gateway (ECG) software.

CADAS Suite

The Frequentis CADAS suite provides a modular system for comprehensive aeronautical information management (AIM), aligned with ICAO standards and regulations, facilitating a cost-effective migration from AIS to AIM.

smartMessenger

smartMessenger was designed to assist the ANSPs with their migration from AFTN to AMHS. It supports both formats and the bi-directional conversion within one fully integrated product, easing the migration process.

CADIR

The European Directory Service (EDS) is intended to provide a centralised management and automated distribution of information in support of ATN applications. CADIR is the flexible solution for implementation of directory services in a managed, distributed environment such as EDS. In support of a wide range of standardised protocols, CADIR integrates perfectly with the global directory service, as well as with local applications.

smartWeather

Timely, accurate and readily-available weather information is essential for Air Traffic Management decision-making and to ensure a safe airspace during changing meteorological situations. Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSP) need tools at their disposal to effectively manage meteorological data and meet this challenge successfully. 

SWIM

The goal of SWIM is interoperability on global, regional, and organisational level, being achieved through standardised interfaces and agreed data formats in a service-oriented architecture. We enable our customers to implement System Wide Information Management (SWIM) in line with the Global Air Navigation Plan (GANP, ICAO Doc 9750) in a timely and cost-effective manner.

EUROCONTROL, MUAC, one of the Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) of four EUROCONTROL member states – Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands, selected Frequentis to provide its CWP as part of the MUAC fallback automation system. To ensure a high airspace capacity during fallback operations, while maintaining safety levels, EUROCONTROL's primary CWP will be mirrored by the fallback system, enabling controller requirements to be met in a similar way.
