Frequentis has become the first company in Germany to implement the prioritised transmission of safety-critical operational communications of authorities and organisations with security tasks (BOS) in a public MCX-ready mobile network. This innovative solution was developed in collaboration with Vodafone and presented for the first time on 2/3 April at the trade fair GPEC digital 2025 (General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference) in Leipzig.

• Australia Defence Force to utilise C4i’s VOICE C2 multi-domain communications
• Under the contract, C4i is creating advanced, sovereign voice communication systems that integrate with command networks to support secure multi-domain defence operations

Frequentis C4i has been under contract since 2024 to provide cutting-edge multi-domain communication systems for the Australia Defence Force’s (ADF) next-generation AIR6500 Joint Air Battle Management System. C4i’s partnership with Lockheed Martin Australia represents a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing collaboration, building on the success of initial capability demonstrations.

• Bane NOR extends long-standing partnership with Frequentis by selecting them for communication terminals and applications upgrade for enhanced railway operations
• This strong collaboration delivers a state-of-the-art communication system, facilitating the transition to future technology

The Norwegian railway operator, Bane NOR, has chosen Frequentis to upgrade its railway dispatcher terminals with the DICORA x20 system, significantly enhancing railway communications. The contract also includes ongoing support and maintenance. From 1 January 2025, Frequentis started to fulfil the extended maintenance service of Bane NOR’s current Fixed Terminal System. The new DICORA x20 terminals featuring the latest advancements are set to be delivered to Bane NOR’s live system by Q2 2025.

The Executive Board of Frequentis AG has decided – subject to the approval of the Supervisory Board – to propose a dividend of EUR 0.27 per share for the 2024 financial year to the Annual General Meeting for resolution.

The good business development and the profitable project executions in 2024 enabled revenues to rise to EUR 480.3 million (2023: EUR 427.5 million) according to the preliminary figures.

EBIT increased to EUR 32.1 million according to the preliminary figures (2023: EUR 26.6 million), the EBIT margin is therefore 6.7% (2023: 6.2%).

• Emergency calls now also possible using real-time video telephony
• Frequentis' FlagMii EML software solution enables faster emergency communication

The regional security centre of the Austrian federal state of Burgenland (Landessicherheitszentrale / LSZ) has opted for Frequentis’ FlagMii EML multimedia solution to enable multimedia emergency calls – a decisive contribution to the modernisation and optimisation of the emergency rescue service. The software solution was developed by the Italian company Regola, a subsidiary of the Frequentis Group since 2022. The installation for LSZ Burgenland marks the first implementation of this system in Austria.

The German Armed Forces have contracted Frequentis Germany to investigate a military uncrewed traffic management (UTM) system that enables the safe integration of UAVs into the controlled airspace.

“With this decision for the modernisation of military air traffic management, the German Armed Forces fulfil an essential requirement for the safe use of UAVs in all forms of operations. This enables the German Armed Forces to manage the limited airspace efficiently and safely. This step is crucial for making air traffic control fit for the future while ensuring the flexibility and scalability required for the safe operations of UAVs,” says Marcel Haar, Managing Director of Frequentis Germany.

• Frequentis introduces its LifeX3020 solution in Malaysia, improving emergency call handling across three key response centres and nationwide blue light agencies 
• The initiative replaces Malaysia's existing MERS999 system, improving emergency response times with 350 workstations and a unified incident management platform

The project involves the setup of 350 workstations across key emergency centres, backed by a robust infrastructure designed to enable rapid response across the nation. With the new platform, call takers will have enhanced tools to assess emergencies quickly and direct resources to the appropriate agencies without delay. This will significantly reduce response times, improving outcomes in critical situations.
