Dutch air traffic controllers work with FREQUENTIS to implement electronic flight strips
Air Traffic Control the Netherlands (LVNL) selected Frequentis electronic flight strips as part of its tower system modernisation program that is being deployed in accordance with the Pilot Common Project (PCP) regulations. Two towers at Amsterdam Schiphol airport have now been equipped with Frequentis smartSTRIPS, meeting the ambitious time frame to complete before the 2019 summer period. By digitalising paper strips ANSPs are paving the way for automation and efficiency, improving controllers’ situational awareness and workflow.
