US Air Force honors FREQUENTIS Brian Bruckbauer by renaming Airfield Operations Flight of the Year Award
- U.S. Air Force (USAF) Airfield Operations Flight of the Year Award will be renamed to reference Brian Bruckbauer in 2025
- The award will be renamed the USAF Brigadier General Brian R. Bruckbauer Airfield Operations Flight of the Year award
- The award is considered the top USAF annual award for the ATC; airfield management; and radar, airfield, and weather systems career fields
The USAF Airfield Operations Flight of the Year award is presented annually for a combination of USAF air traffic control (ATC) and airfield management facilities for various achievements.
Starting in 2025 the award will be known as “USAF Brigadier General Brian R. Bruckbauer Airfield Operations Flight of the Year award”. The award was renamed in recognition of Brian’s career accomplishments and in appreciation of his contributions to the advancement of USAF Airfield Operations. Brian Bruckbauer joined Frequentis on 1 April 2024 as President of Frequentis Defense Inc.
